As the New Castle-Henry County Public Library celebrates 100 years of service throughout this year, the focus this spring is on fashion.

Throughout April, guests to the library can see fashion through the century displayed at the library. Library staff member Denise Akers created the cased displays, while staffer Josh Downham put together the photo displays.

At 12:15 p.m. April 22, the library’s centennial committee will present a fashion show and luncheon. Reservations are required for the program, and can be secured by calling (765) 529-0362, ext. 1347 or by visiting the calendar link atwww.nchcpl.org.

The fashion show will feature clothing from the turn of the 20th Century until today. Models include Winnie Logan (1916), Joda Guffey (1920s), Denise Akers (1930s and 1960s), Robin Ritchie (1940s), Jessica Dupke (1950s), Tina Phelps (1970s), and Lynn Thomas (2000).
